Dr. Jonathan Crawford earned a BA in Political Science, an MA in Secondary Education and an Ed.S. in Secondary Social Sciences all from the University of Alabama. He earned a second Ed.S. in Educational Leadership and an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of West Florida. He has taught for nearly 20 years at the secondary education level in Alabama. During this time, Dr. Crawford has served as a Social Studies Department Chair, Senior Class Sponsor and School Improvement Committee Member. He has also been responsible for providing district-wide professional development to equip teachers with innovative instructional strategies for reaching at-risk students. Dr. Crawford also teaches psychology courses for adults through the Alabama State Department of Education’s ACCESS Distance Learning program.
