Mrs. Kimball has served as an elementary educator for the past nine years. She has experience in an array of demographic and geographic areas. Her experience includes teaching all elementary grade levels, except fourth, and serving as the grade level inclusion teacher for six years. She holds teaching certificates in Alabama, Florida, and North Dakota, and has taught in both urban and rural poverty areas, as well as more affluent communities. She holds a Master’s of Science in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of West Florida. Throughout her career she has served on the Baldwin County Superintendent’s Teacher Advisory Council, Common Core Curriculum Team, School Leadership Team, and as Grade Level Facilitator, Yearbook Advisor, and Relay for Life Team Captain. Mrs. Kimball is an AMSTI (Alabama Math, Science, and Technology Initiative) trained teacher and has also been a trainer for the Rocket Math program. Passionate about teaching her students to be lifelong learners, and reach their potential as a unique part of the community in which they live, is her utmost aspiration.
