Brandy Chemnitz

Brandy Chemnitz has served as an elementary educator for the last 11 years. As a general education teacher in the intermediate grades, she also supports the mainstreamed Autistic students through her Companion Class Program. During this time, she has taken on various roles to support her students and colleagues such as Grade Level Facilitator, Student-Teacher Mentor, Staff Developer, School Wellness Coordinator, and School Improvement Planning Committee. Additionally, she is an adjunct professor with St. Petersburg College for their Developmental Reading program. Mrs. Chemnitz is a National Board Certified Teacher and is affiliated with the Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Clearwater Christian College and a Master of Arts degree in Reading Education from the University of South Florida. Through every experience, her passion for education and ensuring that her students become lifelong learners has only grown. She is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the students she encounters each and every day.
