If I’ve been fingerprinted before, do I have to have my fingerprints processed again?

If you have been fingerprinted by the school district where you will be completing your field experiences, you may not need to be fingerprinted, again, for field work. This decision will be made by the local school district.

At the very end of the TeacherReady program, the FLDOE will require additional fingerprinting before they will issue your teaching certificate. You can use LIVESCAN to complete this process, where available. You can also request a fingerprint card from the FLDOE and return it via mail.
