Lisa BurgessFinancial and Operations Manager

Lisa was raised in a Navy family, spending the majority of her youth in Connecticut.  In pursuit of higher education, she relocated to Pensacola, Florida in 1993, and received her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of West Florida.  With more than 20 years of experience in both public and private accounting, Lisa has gained extensive knowledge in individual and corporate tax law, employee benefits administration, budgeting, strategic planning and small business consulting. 

Lisa’s most recent work experience has been as the director of finance and operations at Episcopal Day School, a local independent school. The knowledge and love for education gained during her tenure at the school has led her to TeacherReady and Studer Education, where she is currently working as the finance and operations manager.

Lisa and her husband have been married for over fourteen years and are blessed with two amazing children. Lisa volunteers her expertise as a member of the St. Paul’s Catholic School finance committee. When not enthusiastically working at the Studer Group or managing her family’s activities, Lisa enjoys spending her spare time playing tennis, at the beach and traveling.
