A Classroom Gratitude Station

 In Tips for Teachers

Thank You NotesEver thought about having a gratitude station in your classroom? A gratitude station provides an opportunity for students (and teachers and school leaders) to share a “Thank You” to someone who made a difference in their day, their life.

A gratitude station setup in your classroom or in your school might be as simple as a mailbox. Once established, encourage students and colleagues to write a thank you note to someone who has made a difference to them.

Each Friday, or as one community college friend does it, each #ThankYouThursday, deliver the thank you notes to the addressee and celebrate the difference makers!

We invite you to share your classroom stories on our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/teacherreadyprogram.
