Susan McLeod has a masters in Educational Leadership/Curriculum and Instruction and a BA in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from the University of West Florida, Pensacola, Florida. She is a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT) with over twenty-five years of educational experience. Susan has taught in public, private, charter and online school environments.
Ms. McLeod’s areas of expertise include professional development, curriculum and instruction as well as assessment and evaluations. She has provided professional development to educators throughout the state of Florida. Susan has also served on numerous educational boards and committees at the school and district level as well as SAC accreditation teams.
Ms. McLeod is the creator and author of a writing program that provides students the tools they need to successfully meet the requirements of “on demand writing”. Her writing and reading scores are among the highest in the state of Florida.
Ms. McLeod’s educational philosophy is that all students have the right to a quality education. Assessment must drive instruction, individual instruction is essential to meet educational needs, and mutual respect are key components to a successfully learning environment.
