Miss Pinkie serves as Adjunct Faculty and a Teaching Fellow at Liberty University in the School of Education. She obtained her Masters of Education in Teaching & Learning from Liberty University in 2010 and her Educational Specialist degree in Educational Administration in 2012; she is working towards her Doctorate of Education in Curriculum & Instruction. As for her teaching experience, Miss Pinkie worked as a high school English teacher and drama director at a private school for three years. She also worked as the Assistant Director of an inner-city day care center for four years, working closely with the public school district and the surrounding neighborhoods to establish a relevant after-school tutoring program and summer programs for children ages 18 months to twelve years. Additionally, Miss Pinkie tutored and privately taught over one hundred high school students in the field of English Literature and Composition, as well as working as a graduate level writing tutor for Liberty University. In regards to college teaching experience, Miss Pinkie has taught Liberty University’s EDUC 125, EDUC 200, EDUC 205, EDUC 220, EDUC 303, EDUC 390, and EDUC 623, as well as GRST 500/501: Introduction to Graduate Writing for Liberty University since the fall of 2009; additionally, she has assisted with various graduate and undergraduate Education courses.

When not teaching, grading, or working on her dissertation, she enjoys reading, baking and cooking, crocheting, watching football, enjoying the great outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. While she now calls Lynchburg, Virginia home, most University breaks are spent in the Cleveland, Ohio area, which is were she grew up.
