Class Dates

TeacherReady® Class Sessions begin each month.

You can apply for each class session through the end of the month in which the class begins.

Minimum Requirements

1. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
2. A minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.5 in the last 60 hours of coursework

An individual who is not a U.S. citizen must meet additional requirements:

1. Have a current, valid US Social Security Number
2. Obtain a teaching position in the State of Florida

If you are not a U.S. citizen, and you do not meet these requirements, you may enroll in TeacherReady and will receive a “Certificate of Completion” from the University of West Florida detailing your course completion.
